JJ Abrams has confirmed she will appear in Star Wars: Episode VII, along with George Lucas and Mark Hamill.
The three actors had all been tipped to reprise their roles in JJ Abrams new installment of George Lucas’ sci-fi series.
Now Carrie has told TV Guide she, Harrison and Mark are expected to report to work in March or April. And the actress is looking forward to getting back into character as Princess Leia.
“I’d like to wear my old [cinnamon buns] hairstyle again – but with white hair,” she said. “I think that would be funny.”
JJ recently revealed the script for Star Wars: Episode VII has been written and work is under way on the highly-anticipated new film.
He admitted he has met with Breaking Bad star Jesse Plemons, but played down the rumours about the actors he is said to have approached for roles.
Michael Fassbender, Hugo Weavingand Girls star Adam Driver are the latest batch of names linked to the film, which will be released on December 18, 2015.
