Welcome to Episode 337. This one is weird. I wouldn’t say it’s good. I might say it’s bad. Yeah, it’s bad. I’m not proud of it. Do yourself a favor and skip it. Anyway, we’re joined by Michael Winkler in this one and we talk about ALL the big winners in the JAWS 4K Blu-Ray contest that was put out there and all the submissions we received. Annnnnnnd we’ve got a lot to talk about in Good Pop Bad Pop.

In Movies this week we talk about the new Pete Davidson film The King of Staten Island where he plays a young man who lost his firefighter father when he was a child. Now in his 20s, he’s trying to get his life together while dealing with his own mental health issues and his widowed mother starting to date again.  We also discuss the new Netflix Spike Lee joint Da 5 Bloods where four African American vets battle the forces of man and nature when they return to Vietnam seeking the remains of their fallen squad leader and the gold fortune he helped them hide.

We also discuss the Bill & Ted Face The Music trailer that dropped this week. What did we think? Brian talks about 2 movies he saw this week with End of Sentence and Two Heads Creek. And he also discusses 2 sports documentaries: Bruce Lee 30 for 30: Be Water and 40 Years of Rocky: The Birth of a Classic.

In TV we talk about Hulu’s new animated series Crossing Swords that was developed from the producers of Robot Chicken. Brian and Michael talk about the new zombie show Reality Z on Netflix. And Brian gives you his final thoughts on Ramy Season 2.

In News we talk about The Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg promising a Goonies 2. Tenet and Wonder Woman 1984 have been pushed back. And Amazon is planning a live-action version of the manga/anime The Promised Neverland.

In DC News someone took a dump on Arrow star Stephen Amell’s roof. And we talk about the rumors that the Joker will be teased for future installments of Matt Reeves The Batman.

In Star Wars News we finally have an update on that Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
