It’s episode 235 and the Leftovers are joined by Rebekah Dahling and Stephanie Chapman to talk about a slew of different topics this week.  We have an extended Good Pop Bad Pop section this week.  Jake has seen A Quiet Place and gives us his thoughts.  Rebekah has seen a new film from A24 starring Ethan Hawke called First Reformed.  She also talks about a new movie Beast.  We give our thoughts on the new hyper violent sci-fi film Upgrade.  Brian gives us reviews for a ton of other movies he’s seen in the past few weeks: Porco Rosso, Overboard, You Were Never Really Here, Bad Samaritan, Book Club and Breaking In.  Brian also talks about Arrested Development Season 5 and he’s seen the first 2 episodes of Humans Season 3 on AMC and gives us his thoughts.   Stephanie talk about The Frankenstein Chronicles with Sean Bean and this wild book she’s reading Unwind.

We also have a discussion on 2 new series coming to the Paramount Network this month.  The first is American Woman with Alicia Silverstone and the second is Taylor Sheridan’s new 10 episode mini-series Yellowstone.

In news we’re talking about the live-action/animated Sonic the Hedgehog film and James Marsden joining the project.  We talk about Jason Momoa and Corin Hardy both leaving The Crow reboot and what that means for the future as well as taking a look at the past of this project.  Who’s been cast as Spawn in the Todd McFarlane film?  The Locke & Key TV series finally finds a home after being passed on by Hulu.  In Marvel news we talk about the strange marketing problems facing Spider-Man Homecoming 2 and in DC we have some Penguin talk.
