The reality is that, there is no profit in the movie that would make you happy. So you have a choice to make. Misery (like it seems) or get of your high horse and have a good time like everone else. Someone made a comment about how they were watching the audience “buy” into all the jokes and one liners. Why are you watching them and why are you judging them? Enjoy our time while it lasts.

Wow. I know i’m late to the party but I just listened to the Avengers podcast. Did you guys even see the movie? Your points of confusion are explained in the movie. Maybe next time you go to a MARVEL movie you take your Snyder sunglasses off and your Nolan ear plugs out.
