Oh my god this episode is garbage. It’s whatever though. We’re joined by past guest June as well as Spoiler Steve from Scene-It Cast Movie Reviews.

Good Pop Bad Pop starts off this sluggish nightmare where in movies Brian talks about a new R-Rated comedy The Kid Detective out now in theaters starring Adam Brody. Brian and June discuss the new Apple TV Original film On the Rocks starring Rashida Jones and Bill Murray. June talks about Bad Hair on Hulu. Steve gives his thoughts on the new remake of Rebecca starring Lily James and Armie Hammer. Brian and Jake talk about The Witches on HBO Max. And Brian and June discuss The Opening Act that explores a young man’s dream of being a stand up comedian as well as Over the Moon the new animated film on Netflix.

In TV we talk about The Queen’s Gambit starring Anya Taylor-Joy out now on Netflix. Netflix also dropped the first season of Barbarians depicting the events of the famous battle of the Teutoburg Forest, in which Germanic warriors halted the northward advance of the Roman Empire in AD 9. A new anime is discussed with Akudama Drive set in a dystopian future in Kansai, the story follows criminals known as Akudama who are pursued by the government available on Funimation and Hulu. We discuss the new Supermarket Sweep hosted by Leslie Jones.

In News Quibi is dead. The Last Starfighter sequel seems to be moving forward. A Willow TV series is given the green light at Disney Plus. And it looks like we’re getting a Smokey and the Bandit TV reboot.

In Marvel News Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has wrapped filming.

And in DC News Jared Leto is reprising his role as the Joker in additional reshoots for Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
