Welcome to Episode 351. For this episode I’m joined by Joe Stark from Starkcast and Number One Comic Books as well as Jacob Harman from Brute Force and Ignorance a Dungeons & Dragons Podcast.

In this episode for Good Pop Bad Pop we talk about Console Wars a documentary about the 1990s console wars between Nintendo and Sega in the 16-bit era out now on CBS All-Access. Brian and Joe discuss Enola Holmes on Netflix starring Millie Bobby Brown. Harman has been doing a lot of reading lately and catches us up on 3 books that you should definitely check out. Also, Harman takes us on a trip to Canada and talks about revisiting Degrassi High. Brian watched the new thriller Alone where a recently widowed traveler is kidnapped by a cold blooded killer, only to escape into the wilderness where she is forced to battle against the elements as her pursuer closes in on her.

In TV Brian and Joe talk about the new series Utopia on Amazon Prime Video where a group of young adults, who meet online, get a hold of a cult underground graphic novel, which not only pins them as a target of a shadowy deep state organization, but also burdens them with the dangerous task of saving the world. Brian also talks about the first episode of The Murders At White House Farm on HBO Max.

In News we’re getting a spin-off of The Boys.

In Marvel News we talk about the super confusing trailer for WandaVision. Black Widow, Eternals and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings have all been pushed to 2021. And we’re getting a Nick Fury Disney+ series starring Samuel L. Jackson.

In DC News we’re getting a Peacemaker series starring John Cena on HBO Max. The DCEU has it’s Hawkman in Aldis Hodge. And The Snydercut is gonna cost a little more than expected and we’re getting reshoots.

And in Star Wars news if we’re to believe Giancarlo Esposito it looks like we’re getting seasons 3 and 4 of The Mandalorian.
