🎙 This week the Leftovers welcome back Neil Thollander to the show.  This week in Good Pop Bad Pop we talk again about Black Summer on Netflix.  Jake talks about Cuphead on the Nintendo Switch.  Brian talks about a few movies: Giant Little Ones, Little and One Cut of the Dead 🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️  Brian also talks about 2 shows he’s watching: CBS All-Access’s Twilight Zone as well as Dark Side of the Ring on Viceland.  Jake and Brian discuss the long awaited Season 8 premiere of ⚔🛡Game of Thrones🛡⚔ and what we thought.  And we discuss 2 trailers this week: Hobbs & Shaw and Child’s Play🔪
In News we’re talking about Y: The Last Man troubles for the FX series, Showtime has cast it’s Master Chief for their Halo series and we now have some rumored details about Paramounts sequel for Coming To America 2.
In Marvel News Kevin Feige talks Deadpool.  In DC News we talk about John Cena being eyes for The Suicide Squad and who he could play.
Star Wars News is mostly news from The Mandalorian from Star Wars Celebration.  There were 2 scenes that were shown to audiences in attendance that haven’t been released online and we talk about the footage description.
It’s always awkward ending trying to end these show descriptions.  Not really sure how to end them after 280 episodes which is super pathetic.  Hear me out here.  Most podcasts would end with something along the lines of “so pop in some headphones and give it a listen”.  I hate that kinda crap.  I’m not saying “don’t listen” but I’m not gonna enthusiastically say something so trite.  Some of you are saying “it shouldn’t be that hard to end these podcast descriptions” and some of you are saying “what the hell does trite mean?”
And to those people I’ll say:
trite
/trīt/
adjective
  1. (of a remark, opinion, or idea) overused and consequently of little import; lacking originality or freshness.
“this point may now seem obvious and trite”

SEE YOU NEXT WEEK FOR AVENGERS ENDGAME
