Welcome to Episode 273.  This week Leftover Brian is joined by Melissa Sloter of the Wild Pretty Things podcast and Rebekah Dahling from Number One Comic Books podcast.  So in this episode we start off by reading some special listener emails.  Then we jump into Good Pop Bad Pop where talk about these films: Fighting With My Family, Arctic starring Mads Mikkelsen, O.G. on HBO, Cold War, Happy Death Day 2U and Paddleton on Netflix.  Melissa talks about A Young Doctors Notebook starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe.  Rebekah talks about I Am The Night on TNT.  Brian talks about a new anime he’s been watching The Promised Neverland. We discuss the new trailer for The Highwaymen coming to Netflix starring Woody Harrelson and Kevin Costner.   And we all talk about the Lorena Bobbit documentary on Amazon Prime executive produced by Jordan Peele that’s simply titled Lorena.
In News we talk about Showtime’s Halo getting a new director.  Emotional stakes are promised in the Avatar sequels.  Amazon’s Lord of the Rings TV show has a super secretive writers room.  Chris Hemsworth is set to play Hulk Hogan in a Netflix biopic.  And Rebekah has news to share about The Wandering Earth.
We got Marvel News this week.  Avengers: Endgame rumors, Captain Marvel spoilers, Marvel Netflix cancellations and more.  We wrap things up with a little bit of Star Wars News concerning a possible Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series followed by some other shenanigans.  I’m sick of typing.

When the world’s most famous anti-tech crusader dies and is resurrected using the illegal technology he has sworn to eliminate, he must decide who to fight with his terrifying new powers. From visionary Grammy-nominated producer and DJ, Steve Aoki, and Eisner award-winning writer Jim Krueger, with art by Neil Edwards and Jheremy Raapack.”
