Episode 215: Black Mirror, Molly’s Game, Injustice 2, The End of the Freaking World

No Tuppewares Annual Awards Show this week.  Things didn’t work out the way we had planned.  But instead I do give you a very loose episode.  I’m joined by Dan West, Rebekah Dahling and Jesse Candelori.  It’s mainly a mix of Good Pop Bad Pop with a discussion built in to the end of the podcast.  In Good Pop Bad Pop we talk about some Netflix TV you can watch right now with Season 4 of Black Mirror, Dark and the just released The End of the Freaking World.  For movies we’ve got Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, I Tonya, Hostiles and Molly’s Game.  For video games Dan and Jesse will tell you all about Injustice 2 as well as Overcooked!

At the end of the show stick around for a conversation with myself, Dan and Jesse about actor/director Jodie Foster’s statements about superhero movies and our thoughts on these recent comments.

Also, the audio file was giving me fits this week.  I could not for the life of me save the episode with the closing music.  So the episode just kind of ends.  I say deal with it.  I think you can live without hearing the theme song at the end of the episode.  If you can’t move on from it then get on iTunes and give us a 1 star review and let your sad, pathetic keyboard be heard.  “They spoke about Injustice 2 on the episode but the only true ‘injustice’ was that I didn’t get to hear the closing music.”  Yeah… you’re cool.

Anyway, next week we should be back on track for the 5th Annual Tupperware Awards Show.

For more Rebekah listen to Runaways TV Talk and The Animated Batcast.  And for more Jesse listen to A Couple of Nerds.
