Ok, so the most unfortunate event is that we only talk about the Netflix series Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events for maybe about 15 minutes. How can that be? It’s the title of your episode and the advertised content? Well, the title is technically “Episode 170: Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events & OTHER NEWS”. I guess it’s the “Other News” that wins the day here. Besides, I appreciate the irony of our review being another in a long series of unfortunate events. So what I’m trying to say here is, deal with it. Brian talks about watching Princess Mononoke. Jake talks about a new game show he watched hosted by Chris Hardwick. And Frank surprises us all and talks about some game or something. We also talk about Marvel, DC and Star Wars. You know the drill. Some podcasts love to fill this episode description space with everything they talk about during the episode. #1 I’m lazy. That isn’t happening. #2 If you’re on the fence about listening already you’re not gonna want to read three paragraphs looking for the one thing we talk about that appeals to you. This podcast isn’t a restaurant and this episode isn’t a menu. #3 If you are THAT GUY combing through and reading each and every sentence in a description for a podcast then I don’t want you listening. Next thing you know I’m putting lotion in a basket and you’re wearing my skin as an ascot. So here it is. Episode 170… it SUCKS.
