In this episode the Leftovers talk about Kubo and the Two Strings the new film by Laika. We’ll also discuss the new Hulu release Triumph’s Election Special 2016 with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. Brian discusses Ip Man 3, The Little Prince, Driver and gives us his rating for Galaxy Quest which he recently watched for the first time. (Yes, he had not seen Galaxy Quest. At least it wasn’t Rocky. You’d have to be living in a cave to not have seen Rocky. And to compare the cultural impact Rocky had to Galaxy Quest is pretty absurd too. There’s no comparison. Just saying)
Is Max Landis rebooting American Werewolf In London? Who’s joining the cast of Bladerunner 2? We’ll talk about all of these questions as well as dive into the big Marvel casting rumor that Zendaya will be playing Mary Jane in the Spider-Man: Homecoming film. And of course we got DC News and Star Wars news followed by a crap ton of your emails. (Which we destroy) We go off the rails quite a bit in this episode so have fun listening to this garbage.
